Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish AKA My Darling Clementine play their first ever show in Spain following the release of their new album Still Testifying, which UK magazine Uncut described as “where gospel, country and southern soul happily collide. It’s terrific”
Since they shook-up the world of country and Americana with there much lauded 2013 debut How Do You Plead? My Darling Clementine have continued to push the boundaries of country music.
Stylistically, this new album is a further shifting away from classic country and countrypolitan to embrace gospel and soul. One writer remarked, ‘this is more Delaney & Bonnie than George & Tammy’
Like is predecessors it has been greatly hailed both in Europe and in N.America where they now tour regularly.
In concert they always deliver. Wry, witty, sharp, funny, and at times incredibly poignant. MDC in concert run their audience through the full gamut of emotions.
2 adults, a man and woman, singing to each, about each other, for and against each other.
This is a show not to be missed
